not Tell Mama ...

... to take soy milk, oats, rice or at most one barley, a cup of tea or a soft, but not the cow! Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a big fan of cow's milk even if I drank a few years ago, as does every morning, most of the Italians at breakfast. Then, when I teach courses or seminars, the milk is absolutely the issue that prompted me to deal more and that it raised more discussion than any other topic. They know something the mothers of "Lilliput" where I just kept Course survival food that are left helpless after the first lesson in which I destroyed one of the certainties of their breakfast and the usual diet of their children.
We come to the point: because I've got so much with cow's milk? First of all there is to say that milk is not a food but an accretive in nature serves to double the weight of a calf in the first two months of life.

That said, we have to add that almost all of the cows' milk consumed in Italy is milked from cows that live in large factory farms, and then for reasons of health and hygiene , prophylactic, veterinary drugs and treated with antibiotics. Obviously, you know, end up in the milk we all slag and waste of drugs metabolized by the animal and ends up also the pus that the animal has produced a result of infection that was treated then. And we drink it quietly, while we make a fuss if a nursing mother takes drugs, does not eat well or not go regularly because of the body so the child through her milk to drink even waste, toxins and drugs. We are the only species that as adults continue to feed with milk, and in addition to a species different from ours!
One of the most common food intolerance in Italy is that cow's milk, and this simply because it consumes too much and too often.
To metabolize milk requires the presence of the enzyme lactase in the intestine, and the data that should make you think about 80% of world population suffers from lactase deficiency, an enzyme that naturally reduces their levels in the intestine after 5 years of age. If the missing lactase, undigested lactose reaches the intestine, causing bloating, cramps, diarrhea and flatulence.
After several years of outpatient experience, I found that Italian mothers rely on cow's milk not only the task of nursing the children but also to pamper them and make them feel loved, a bit 'as if it were a projection of the breast milk prorpio that lasts for years. Another stumbling block to be overcome to break away from cow's milk is then represented by the fear of low calcium intake. It 's true that cow's milk is rich in calcium, but when it entered our body to be metabolized there "ripping" literally calcium oxalate from our body leaving us so deficient in this precious mineral for bone development and strength.
We then assess the situation: the milk is an augmentative and not a food containing residues of pus, drugs, toxins and hormones and is counterproductive to the absorption of calcium.
I believe that there is now more clear my "no sympathy" to this white drink.
overcome the obstacle of the lack of psychological understood as an extension of breast milk, try to figure out how to get a supply of calcium from other foods.
are calcium-rich foods as tofu, soy beans, sesame tahini, almonds, arugula, radicchio, sage, rosemary, turnips, chicory and dried figs.
good source of calcium are algae, which can be used in cooking to flavor pasta dishes, soups and vegetables.
Then there are foods enriched in calcium such as soy milk, rice and oats with added calcium. One recommendation: if you use these fortified drinks, make sure that the added calcium is of plant origin (preferably from algae) because calcium is assimilated by our body only when it is first metabolized by the plant organisms, and this is why the mineral calcium in the water is not retained by the body.
Given that most mothers are always worried I will make you a sample menu without milk and dairy products but it gets to deliver the recommended 550mg of calcium daily for children.
Breakfast: 1 cup soy milk enriched in calcium (150mg)
50g of wholemeal bread (25 mg) coated with 30g of sesame tahini (245mg)
Snack: fresh fruit
Lunch: a first course with a portion of vegetables (80mg)
Snack: fresh fruit, plus 30 grams of almonds (70mg)
Dinner: a second plate with a portion of vegetable protein (80mg)

Excessive consumption of animal protein also leads to an inevitable loss in the body of calcium, which is taken from the bones and expelled along with urine.
Finally, the proportion of calcium in our bones stabilizes at around 30 years, which is why it is essential to educate children from an early age to a healthy diet. The only advice is good to beat osteoporosis daily exposure to at least 30 minutes of light (not sun, but sunlight) and a healthy walk briskly for 30 minutes at least 3 times a week.

In conclusion, cow's milk should be consumed in moderation, it is absolutely preferred to biological origin and should be given to growing children. For all others it is best avoided, since we are too fed and we do not need augmentative, plus taking into account that milk causes domestic production of mucus which is then to wrap our internal organs, and in nursing mothers, instead of increase their milk production as once believed, does nothing but cause intestinal colic in breast-fed children!
Ah, I forgot ..... cheese? are nothing more than evaporated milk ... you pull the money.
